Caring For Your New Home
Although your new home is virtually maintenance free,
there are still small but important steps that need to be taken in
caring for your new home. Like a new car that needs to be washed and waxed,
your new home should be taken care of in a similar manner.

Wash: Cleaning your new home on a regular basis is crucial. By doing this you can clean in corners of rooms, windows etc. eliminating dust, dirt or even moisture. Did you know that a dehumidifier should be running in your home for the first year?

As your home is still in the “drying out” stage, this is the first step to helping to eliminate any moisture or condensation in your new home.

Special care should be taken with your new home. Take for example the flooring. Different flooring requires different maintenance. Vinyl or Ceramic Tile can withstand moisture (eg. spilt liquid) more so than Laminate or Hardwoods. When caring for your floors any spills should be cleaned up immediately.
